Who are we
Blighty Arts is a registered charity focused on lifting people out of poverty one person at at time.
We raise money through donation, and by providing workspace and offices for entrepreneurs, creatives and small businesses. All the profits raised are then given as microfinance or "good faith" loans to some of the poorest people in society who want to start their own business.
To date we have helped nearly 200 women in rural India start their own business, with all loans paid "forward" to the next person who needs assistance.
We also provide desks and services at cost to young entrepreneurs in the UK who need help getting started, with plans to extend our microfinance loans in 2017 to would be self-employed amongst the homeless in the UK.
In this way we use entrepreneurship to lift people out of poverty and change the world one person at a time! Please contact paul@blightygroup.com if you would like to make a donation

Charity
We are a London based charity fostering, promoting and developing arts and arts-based start ups in Finsbury Park . Established in 2013 we have quickly become an established part of the local community, with all profits going to the poorest people in society so that they can start a business too. Positioned above Blighty Coffee on Blackstock Road, we promote the values of Entrepreneurship, Inclusivity, Community and Independence for all. If you'd like to get involved as a volunteer or trustee, please contact paul@blightygroup.com
Workspace
Blighty Arts has created opportunities for greater participation in the arts and creative industries for the whole community through a range of learning programmes, business support services, facilities and resources. We seek to provide greater access and support to under-represented sections of the community by offering skills, experience and opportunities in music, film, performing arts, visual arts, and multimedia, which can lead onto progression routes in further and higher education, employment and entrepreneurship.
